Christine DeHart

About Christine
A lifelong Staten Islander with deep community roots, Christine DeHart has built her career around caring for people, properties, and the neighborhoods she loves. With a strong commitment to quality housing and responsible ownership, Christine has become a trusted leader in both property management and real estate services across Staten Island.
Christine grew up in a family that owned and operated a construction and property management firm for more than 40 years. From an early age, she learned the fundamentals of building operations, tenant relations, and long-term asset stewardship. After college, she joined the family business, managing a 52-unit rent-stabilized building and discovering her passion for improving property performance, solving complex challenges, and helping residents feel safe, respected, and at home.
Today, as the Owner and Broker of Salmon Real Estate—Staten Island’s oldest independent real estate company—Christine brings decades of experience, professional certification, and a hands-on approach to every property under her care. She is a Certified Property Manager through the New York Real Estate Institute, an E-Pro Internet Professional, and a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES). Christine has also completed The City of New York’s Residential Property Management and Working with Tenants courses, further strengthening her expertise in building operations, compliance, subsidized housing, and tenant advocacy.
While Christine continues to support buyers and sellers through Salmon Real Estate, her core focus is delivering high-quality, ethical, and responsive property management services that protect client investments and enhance the Staten Island housing experience.
Deeply committed to her community, Christine is the President-Elect of the North Shore Rotary Club and a two-time Past President. She serves on Community Board 1, chairs the Victory Boulevard Merchants Association, and sits on the Boards of both the Staten Island Industrial Alliance and the Staten Island Home Improvement Contractors Association. She is also an active member of the Staten Island Board of Realtors, the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors, and CCIM.
Christine is passionate about giving back and plays a leading role in numerous charitable initiatives, including chairing an annual fundraiser supporting the autistic community and participating in committees dedicated to improving the lives of Staten Islanders.
